Self-taught artist, educator and musician he's also an activist who helped start the Wethersfield, CT. based Cetacean Society international, which aims to protect cetaceans- whales, porpoises and dolphins- around the world. His Drawings have appeared in several publications including Alaska Geographic Magazine. In the 1960's coffeehouses, he was a chantey-man at mystic seaport museum, as well as performing with the Finest Kind and the Morgans. Listening to Don sing a chantey, you can believe that a good chantey-man was worth ten men on a line.
Performance begins at 8 p.m. $7 donation at the door, and $5 w/ student ID.
