Kutztown University’s Planetarium will be hosting a presentation on black holes, the mysterious and powerful anomalies of our universe, on Wednesday, Feb. 17 and Wednesday, April 6. The show will begin at 7 p.m. both nights and will offer free admission.
Narrated by noted actor John de Lancie (“Q” in the Star Trek TV series), this new immersive theater program incorporates questions from several of the latest theories regarding black holes. Where do they come from? Will the Earth ever be sucked into one? Do “Worm Holes” really exist?
This full-length animated production will feature 3-D simulations of black holes and the strange physical effects they can create. With a host of advisors from around the country, this proves to be the most up-to-date and visually stunning shows about black holes the Planetarium has ever produced.
Black Holes will be one of the first of the Planetarium’s many new spring 2016 shows.
