The 2018 Kutztown Community Partnership's Block Party was a huge success despite colder than normal temperatures and breezy conditions. Over 120 vendors braved the wind as people from the local community came out in support of the event. "A lot of Kutztown residents, Borough employees, KU students, and local organizations who share the same Kutztown Pride work together for months to plan this one day event," said Allison Fuller, Chair of the Block Party Committee. "Witnessing the joy the event brings to everyone is priceless!" Gina Wiand, a Kutztown Community Partnership Board Member, added that "it provides me with an opportunity to volunteer with an organization that I love, while having my family with me to enjoy a great event." It truly is a community event with something for all ages to enjoy.

Relive a little bit of the action with a few photos we captured during the event.

We would also like to thank all of the participating vendors as well as our generous sponsors who made this event possible. We greatly appreciate the support of Giant, Weis, Action Track USA, Dream Vacations Main Street Getaways, GT Church, Epic Jamz Light and Sound, and Turkey Hill. For a full list of vendors and musical entertainment, please visit our event website

Also, as with all non-profits, we would be nothing if not for the hard work of our volunteers and would like to thank everyone who was involved in this event from planning to event day execution. A huge thank you to both our Chair, Allison Fuller, and our Vendor Coordinator, Karissa Barrell. They both dedicated many, many hours to the planning, coordinating, and execution of this event and we couldn't be more grateful for their hard work. In addition, our gratitude goes out to the Kutztown Borough employees who work on the weekend to ensure the safety of our guests. We would also like to thank the members of Alpha Sigma Tau at Kutztown University and those of the Kutztown Boxing Club who assisted with set up and break down of the event.

Please contact us if you're interested in getting involved in next year's Block Party or any of the other events and initiatives the Kutztown Community Partnership supports. There is always something going on and many ways to get involved.
